Morris Engineering, Inc. (MEI) has extensive experience preparing bridge demolition plans. Whether it be a flat slab, conventionally reinforced cast-in-place box, precast girder, steel girders with composite concrete deck, post-tensioned cast-in-place box or cast-in-place T-girder bridge, MEI will determine a safe and efficient method for removing the superstructure. MEI's building demolition experience includes the 2020 Avenue of the Stars building in downtown Los Angeles. This 8 story building complex, which sat over a 5-level below ground parking structure (which remained in service during demolition), included removal of large steel trusses that spanned the former Shubert Theatre.
