Bridge Jacking & Temporary Bridge Supports
Morris Engineering, Inc. (MEI) has designed falsework in many cases where the available clearance did not allow for conventional falsework construction. Designing the falsework to sit in an elevated position, the bridge superstructure must then be lowered into position. MEI has designed the temporary bracing and jacking systems required to lower the superstructure. In addition, MEI has designed many temporary support bents / posts, which act to support the existing structure while modifications are made to one or more of the permanent supports.
