Morris Engineering, Inc. designed a rigging system to support the existing monuments on the historic 1st Street Viaduct bridge. The monuments were removed from the existing structure, and later replaced on the new widened structure, preserving the iconic look of the 1st Street Viaduct.

Victoria Street Pedestrian Bridge - Riverside, California
MEI designed a 500 ft long 6 span temporary pedestrian bridge. This bridge was supported by five tower bents, some of the bents exceeded 50 feet in height. This temporary bridge was designed to meet permanent bridge specifications including a seismic analysis.
Temporary Haul Road Bridge & Grizzly - Rancho Cucamonga, CA
MEI designed a temporary haul road for fully loaded scrappers. This haul road bridge acted as a grizzly (a screen for sorting dirt and rocks) to feed a material handling plant.
Anaheim Street OC - Temporary Deck Support - Long Beach, CA
MEI designed a temporary deck support system so that the damaged steel girder below could be repaired.
Temporary Water Diversion Piping - Angeles National Forest, Calf.
MEI designed a temporary water diversion piping system for the Big Tujunga Dam. this system allowed for the discharge of water through the existing valves in the dam during the seismic retrofitting of the dam. The piping system required the sizing of the pipe and the pipe supports from the downstream side of the existing valve, down the face of the dam and out to the outlet structure 650 ft. downstream

Permanent Sheet Pile Wall - Laguna Niguel, California
MEI designed a sheet pile wall system to protect the property against erosion due to adjacent natural stream bed. The sheet pile wall system consisted of both cantilever and tie-back configurations. In addition MEI designed the decorative block wall with wrought iron fencing that surrounds the property.
